About Your Essex Wedding Photographer
Hey! I’m Luke, a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Essex, capturing relaxed, natural wedding photography for couples who want real moments, not awkward posing.
I photograph weddings across Essex, including Chelmsford, Colchester, and Brentwood, focusing on candid storytelling, genuine emotion, and beautiful light.
If you’re wondering who’s behind the camera, you came to the right place. To sum myself up in an “about me” section is nearly impossible, but here are a few things you must know.
I’m a father of two amazing (crazy!) children and married to my beautiful wife (she made me write that!).
Since becoming a “daddy of two” I’ve definitely become a lot more emotional — which is probably why I’m so passionate about every wedding I photograph. If your wedding has all the feels, there’s a strong chance I’ll be right there crying with you.
I’m a total nerd. If you want to talk video games, comics (MARVEL! Sorry DC fans!), we absolutely need to grab a coffee — or a beer (Lukey likes beer).
I love a selfie. So be warned — cheeky selfies are happening. And if you’ve got me around in the evening, prepare yourself for some truly EPIC dance moves (I taught MJ everything he knew).

It's when you're being yourself and forget all about the camera. It's all of those in between moments. Not planned. Not posed. Just real moments captured in the most beautiful way possible, this is what I like to apply to every wedding I shoot, as I feel this captures the true emotion of your day.
The reason I gravitate towards wedding photography is that I love to support others. And what better way to be in a support role than to help someone celebrate one of the most special moments of their lives, I want to see you all have a fantastic time, and I want you to look back at your pictures and feel the day.
The best way to describe me for being your photographer is, I'm basically a guest at your big day but with a camera. I love to make you and your guest feel at ease, I don't like to be intrusive or dictate your day. I love to enjoy your day as much as everyone else.
